template

[edit]

This template of lame press releases are of no encyclopedic value and is waste of wikipedia space. I suggest we delete this page or on a lighter note, use it as a template. Docku: What up? 21:15, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Some people don't think it's lame. It was taking up too much of the main article, and had plenty of value as many terrorist attempt articles have similar sections/sub-articles. StarfoxRoy|guestbook| 00:19, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
These are rather common lists that are almost always created shortly after the parent article (of a major event). I don't know why people hate these so much; and almost every single one faces AfD; and every single one survives. --haha169 (talk) 04:10, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

local reactions

[edit]

do we need a separate section for local reactions like mah.govt, tata group, oberoi or trident group,or the chabad lubavitch?59.164.18.169 (talk) 03:22, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Australia's response

[edit]

Why should the former Prime Minister's response be included with the current Prime Minister's response? The former Prime Minister no longer holds office and does not speak on behalf of any government or governmental body. It shouldn't be there. Timeshift (talk) 06:25, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I went hunting for a better reaction to this, without success. I agree that the response of John Howard should be deleted, since he no longer speaks for the parliament or the nation.SocratesAD (talk) 00:50, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed. Removed. Timeshift (talk) 01:00, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A Billion Hands Concert

[edit]

I think the benefit concert A Billion Hands Concert should be mentioned somewhere, it's a pretty notable reaction to the attack. Spiby 16:00, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pakistan's reaction

[edit]

Can someone please cite Pakistan's offer to help? Under "Reactions". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jumpstartsuit (talkcontribs) 04:49, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

patil/deshmukh

[edit]

the mentions of resignations are deceptive and on the verge of WP:Censorship. No mention is made of why they resigned and patil saying what he did ("small things happen in such a big country" ro somethign of the sort.). likewise deshmukh's visit to the taj with ram gopal varma and his son are nto mentioned.Lihaas (talk) 09:20, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality tag

[edit]

Thanks for the heads-up in the hidden text about POV words; there weren't too many, but I removed what I saw when copyediting the article and removed the tag. Miniapolis (talk) 20:06, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal to cut this and similar articles

[edit]

There is a Village Pump proposal to do away with responses to terrorism incidents, which I thought editors of this article may be interested in. LjL (talk) 22:13, 3 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
