Height
[edit]Some say 1.79, some say 1.82 - so I have removed until consensus is reached. GiantSnowman 06:17, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
- The Chelsea website currently says 1.79m (5 ft 10 in). You'd think the clubs would ask the players for their measurements though some people might have grown a bit since their first day at the club. I'm inclined to go with the club website measurement. If they have it wrong they might need to re-measure him to see what the actual result is and update it later. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 15:14, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
- Premier League says 1.82. GiantSnowman 15:37, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
- And Soccerbase lists him as 1.75. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 20:54, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
- And Eurosport says 1.83. So that's 4 different options... GiantSnowman 21:17, 17 June 2022 (UTC)

Correct full name and place of birth
[edit]Full name is Reece Lewis James according to GRO and place of birth is Southwark and not Redbridge. His mother's maiden name is Neil and this is confirmed as it is the same for his sister Lauren. Phildav76 (talk) 22:22, 4 August 2023 (UTC)
- Where is the reliable source which confirms the date of birth? GiantSnowman 09:31, 5 August 2023 (UTC)
- I don't think "Recce Lewis James" can be found in any sources I have browsed for. And all links in the Height section above gives London as his birthplace though both Southwark and Redbridge are in London. Original research cannot be allowed on Wikipedia and the 11v11 source gives Redbridge. I can't guarantee any of your information is right here. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 13:58, 5 August 2023 (UTC)
Consideration
[edit]I think there should be some mention of him being considered as one of the best right backs in the world. He and Alexander-Arnold are often compared and Arnold himself has mention of him being one of the best. AtishT20 (talk) 16:20, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
- What reliable sources describe him as such? In any event see WP:UNDUE. GiantSnowman 16:25, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
- A fairly recent article from July 2023 by ESPN shows James rated at 4th. Further websites such as four four two and football critic also rank James highly. AtishT20 (talk) 16:30, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
