- ... that Palestinian academic Refaat Alareer said that if the Israeli Ground Forces attacked him, he would defend himself with an Expo marker? Source: https://www.timesnownews.com/world/who-was-dr-refaat-alareer-palestinian-poet-and-scholar-killed-by-israeli-airstrike-article-105823873

- Not a review, but considering the publicity he's had since his death, I'm not sure how well this hook works without including the fact that he was killed as a result of actions by the IDF... Frzzl talk; contribs 20 December 2023
- Rejecting the nomination as there hasn’t been a response to the concern raised 5 weeks ago. Schwede66 16:31, 26 January 2024 (UTC)

Add photo File:2024 Stanford Palestine encampment - Refaat Alareer Memorial Library.jpg and File:Pro Palestine protest and encampment in Stanford University 20240428 - 42.jpg to the article. Suiren2022 (talk) 00:06, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Suiren2022: it would be more helpful and you're more likely to be successful if your proposal has specific text to put in. anecdotally I see there's many, many places that reproduce his poem. could you say something about why this is a particularly notable example? --Jeremyb (talk) 00:37, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Per Jeremyb above. thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 03:22, 29 May 2024 (UTC)
