Removed: Byrne was inspired to write The Power after answering several thousand letters from readers of The Secret. We don't know what her inspiration was, that is only what her website claims and cannot be used as a primary source. This page seems highly biased toward promoting Ms. Byrne's works. While she has had legitimate success, this article fails to discuss her works' critical reception or her public image. Furthermore, all of Ms. Byrne's achievements are presented in a highly congratulatory tone. — further, Francophonie&Androphilie sayeth naught (Je vous invite à me parler) 10:13, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
@Francophonie&Androphilie: It is of utmost importance that this be included, as many people first come here to read an unbiased perspective. It is not a secret that this author feeds off the controversy her book inspires, the article is in need of more information all together. Oneksons (talk) 18:19, 19 December 2014 (UTC)
The article currently states that she was born in 1951, and is in the corresponding category of 1951 births. However, the reference is to her NNDB biography, which gives her birth year as 1945. So I am changing the article to match.--Gronk Oz (talk) 13:08, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
