The result of the proposal was Not moved. No evidence provided the target is the common name and evidence appears to be to the contrary; Wikipedia's naming conventions specifically address that what is the "official" title of a topic is not a primary consideration.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 08:09, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Robert L. BaconRobert Low Bacon — per official biography --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 19:44, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose In most news coverage and official business he seems to have gone by the middle initial.--Yaksar (let's chat) 21:10, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. No evidence has been offered that he's more often referred to in this way. The official biography quite possibly uses the full name deliberately, as do we in the article lead, but for the title our policy and practice is not to do so automatically. I note also that the article on his brother Gaspar G. Bacon is similarly named, middle initial only. Andrewa (talk) 23:28, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
