Added project and reassessed article[edit]

Added article to WP:Texas and reassessed from Start class to C class. Bruin2 (talk) 18:01, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, trouble logging in so I'm requesting someone else to add to the main article on the following point. Italic text

In June, 2020, Dr. Wilson was among the signatories of a letter by 77 Nobel Laureates protesting the decision to cancel a grant to EcoHealth Alliance[1] for research on coronaviruses in bats, and human/wildlife interactions with potential for bat viruses' jumping to human in the southeastern border regions of China and adjacent areas of Southeast Asia. The letter expresses grave concerns that the decision signals a significant escalation in the politicization of the funding of science, and reflects very poor judgment of both priorities at this tim and for prevention and control of future pandemics.

New York Times article: [2]

Transcript of the letter:[3]

Dr Wilson's signature appears at the bottom of the letter along with those of the other Nobel Laureates.
