The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).
According to sources, Benfica announced the creation of the team in December 2017. Later, in January 2018, they announced their first player signing; in March, their coach. The team started the pre-season in July and made its official debut in September. Despite all this, BBC Sports source says that "the side was formed at the end of 2017". Should we choose December 2017, January 2018, another date, or simply 2017 or 2018 as the foundation date? SLBedit (talk) 20:47, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like it was August 2017 when the club President first announced the "embryonic" plans [1] Then he confirmed ongoing plans in an interview with the club TV station in November, but said it still needed board approval [2] Then came the press release in December, which sounded as if they had already agreed a licence to join the league etc. albeit they didn't yet have any players or a coach. So I think 12 December 2017 should be the start date. This would be consistent with the male club article, which says they were constituted in 1904 but didn't play their first match until 1905. Comment What if a women's article for another team is created? Benfica isn't just football. The women's futsal team is older than the football team and is also notable. SLBedit (talk) 21:09, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
