Korean War service
[edit]Although the article states Nunez served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War era, there are no reliable sources found as of yet state that he was in a war zone during the war. More specifically, the sources do not establish defining role in the Korean War. Accordingly, "Category:United States Air Force personnel of the Korean War" was removed until a defining role is established. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 17:03, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
- This obituary from The News-Star on January 17, 2012 says Nunez, "participating in the Korean Conflict with honors." This reference does not provide specifics. Semper fi! FieldMarine (talk) 17:03, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
Air Force service
[edit]Including a reliable primary source or a source closer to the periods of service in the air force would add to this article. The source currently used for his Air Force service is an obituary. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 22:02, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
Louisiana State University
[edit]It appears from this ref showing the 1957 Louisiana State University yearbook, that Nunez attended LSU in 1957. The article would benefit from his graduation year from LSU once confirmed. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 12:31, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
