Besides Edward, Sara Boardman and Adoniram also had a daughter Abigail Ann, and sons Adoniram, Jr., Elnathan, and Henry. Abigail Ann became a headmistress of Bradford Academy, which Adoniram's first wife Ann Hasseltine Judson had once attended. Adoniram, Jr., became a physician, Elnathan became a minister just as Edward. Henry foughht for the Union and was wounded and disabled for the rest of his life.
Emily Chubbuck and Adoniram had a daughter, Emily Frances who married Sarah Boardman's son George Dana Boardman the Younger. George dana Boardman the Younger also became a minister.[1]
