Combine Migration pages and differentiate within article?[edit]

Untitled[edit]

I think we should combine the Second Great Migration (African American) with the Great Migration (African American) within one article, and differentiate between them within the article. Otherwise it is too confusing. Th Great Migration article leads with the total number of migrants for both migrations, but is mostly about the first Migration. I know there is more material for both the first and the Second Migration. It would be easier for readers and editors to find and easier for people to contribute if all the material were in one place. What do you think? --Parkwells (talk) 15:20, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

RE: Combine Migration pages and differentiate within article?[edit]

I feel like this is still too small of a section to be able to combine; and, it's able to be more than just migration. This specific article can connect to Civil Rights in America, and that's a whole new can of beans if you know what I mean. So, I think that it needs to be fleshed out before we move or connect it.
