The Senate → ? – From 2008 to 2018, "The Senate" redirected to senate [1]. I think this redirection should be restored. The disambiguation page can be moved to Senate (disambiguation) or The Senate (disambiguation); preferably "Senate (disambiguation)" as the more general form. -- 70.51.201.106 (talk) 06:17, 23 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Support some kind of move per nom. The most likely use of "the Senate" would be one of the Senate § National senates in the world The new DAB page is an interesting beast. Any senate could be called locally "the Senate" but this page should not duplicate the aforementioned list. What's left is really only one entry actually called "the Senate", The Senate (band), plus a couple of questionable/trivial entries, the Galactic Senate and Sheev Palpatine from the Star Wars franchise. I would prefer a DAB page (if it is really needed) at Senate (disambiguation) in the spirit of WP:THE and still have The Senate direct to Senate, but await other comments. — AjaxSmack 15:10, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment if it is moved to "Senate (disambguation)", it can also cover people named "Senate" (such as Princess Senate of Lesotho), which would improve the situation of the dabpage.
