Move back to natural and unique diasambiguation from artificial and unnatural parenthesis; per WP:NCNT: Sir" may be used in article titles as a disambiguator. . Unfortunately, the unwise move has been compounded with a tweak to the redirect. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 00:05, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested new titles

[edit]

Okay then, what about Edward Wortley Montagu (diplomat) (a redirect at present) or Edward Wortley Montagu (ambassador)? Deb (talk) 12:59, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am happy with the present title, but would not oppose either of your suggestions or Edward Wortley Montagu (Treasury Lord). However the real problem is that he occupied these roles only for quite brief periods of his life, though he was an MP almost continuously for over 50 years.
