Requested move 18 February 2017
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: moved to Star Bus. Clear consensus to decapitalise "STAR". On the other issues, no consensus to add a seemingly unnecessary disambiguation and no consensus to decap "Bus". No prejudice against a new RM for either of these issues, waiving the standard wait time because this RM was sparsely attended. Jenks24 (talk) 08:24, 1 March 2017 (UTC)
STAR Bus → Star Bus (satellite) – or Star bus (satellite), per MOS:TM / WP:ALLCAPS, consistency of title format for related topics, and disambiguation relative to Tata Starbus. The related topics IndoStar-1, GEOStar, GEOStar-2, etc., use "Star", not "STAR". I don't know whether "STAR" is officially an acronym in this usage or not, but it presumably is not pronounced by spelling out the letters. —BarrelProof (talk) 17:19, 18 February 2017 (UTC)
