Klingons and the Doctor
[edit][The Doctor] somehow recognised Worf as a Klingon despite having never even heard the word 'Klingon' before now.
Does the comic say that the Doctor has never heard the word “Klingon” before? If not, is there a reliable source that says so? Or is this WP:OR? —Frungi (talk) 08:22, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
- After buying it, I can verify this. On page 49 of the digital Volume 1, the Doctor says:
“I seem to be remembering things that have never happened to me. […] I had never even heard the word ‘Klingon’ before…”
- I rewrote the sentence in an attempt to make it more clear that this is the case, rather than someone being snarky as I first suspected. —Frungi (talk) 03:57, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
Too much plot
[edit]The Plot section seems a little long for an article that has nothing else. Can anyone add other sections? “Reception”, maybe? —Frungi (talk) 08:25, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
- Unless there is compelling reason not to, I plan on heavily trimming the current summary, replacing it with perhaps one sentence per paragraph. I think that would be sufficient for an article that is nothing but a plot summary. —Frungi (talk) 00:11, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- I’ve rewritten the summary of what I’ve read, shortening it up by about half I think, but even that still seems too long for an otherwise empty article. I plan on shortening it further, perhaps to only two or three paragraphs total for all eight issues. Input from anyone else would be welcome, especially disagreement. —Frungi (talk) 02:08, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
It’s done. It could probably stand a bit of copy-editing, but I’ve cut it down from eight lengthy paragraphs to two and a half paragraphs. Note that I still haven’t read the final three issues of the comic, so if I included something unnecessary or left out something important, please do fix that. —Frungi (talk) 04:16, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
