Symposium (painting)Symposium (Gallen-Kallela) – There are apparently two paintings named "Symposium", the other one being Symposium (Feuerbach). Despite that the Gallen-Kallela painting is obviously the one that the Finns think of when they hear the name "Symposium", this is neither the Finnish Wikipedia or the Wikipedia for Finland. I don't think either painting is significantly notable than the other. JIP | Talk 20:59, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • "Intellectual means generally writing in France and in east cost USA, leftist or even Marxian thinker." Nonsense. Look at a dictionary. I don't think the 21st-century word "influencer" is appropriate here. Johnbod (talk) 03:12, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    The common sense disagree.
Take a look, for example, at the etymology:
    https://www.etymonline.com/word/influence?utm_source=app
Under the influence (of alcohol, etc.) 'drunk' first attested 1866.
Therefore the influencers is an optimal term to describe the men behiving inappropriately under the influence of alcohol, among other things.
That is what the painting and explanation is about.
Secondly, it is essential to mention that they were known for the cultural feats; literally the fraternity consisted of the most remarkable influencers of the emerging culture in Finland.
One can even argue that the members of that Finnish minded order were the key creators for the national identity.
One can even write they are the best known and the most respected creators of art, they are so called national artists in Finland just like Shakespe
