>>>>Twosret took the throne for herself, assuming the role of a Pharaoh and the titulary of a Queen (King's Wife).

This information is simply wrong. Twosret was 'great king's wife' under Seti II. When she became Pharaoh = king of Egypt, she took over the full titles of a king. However, there is no monument, where she appears as 'king's wife' and 'Pharaoh' (Pharaoh means the five titles and names of a king) Udimu 4.10.2005. 8.55

Twosret or Tausret ? How are you deciding the spellings guys?

TwosretTausret – While looking through sources on this person, it seems as though "Tausret" is actually the most common way of spelling her name. For example, in Google Scholar, "Twosret" gets 155 results,[1] while "Tausret" gets 568.[2] In contrast, of the other possible spellings, "Tawosret" gets 324 results,[3] and "Tausert" gets 396 results.[4]

It seems as though "Twosret" is actually the least common way of spelling her name in reliable sources. As "Tausret" appears to be the most common, I am requesting we rename this page to that. Grnrchst (talk) 10:00, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
