This article was mainly built up by a user named Ted Craig, what a surprise. It is apparently self-serving and appears to be mainly copied from a link I put in the article today. Stepp-Wulf 01:40, 21 September 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Why a surprise? shows how important Wiki is these days. Looks factual to me and to the point. He is a director of a professional producing theatre in South London (the only one outside the centre of London). Selhurst (talk) 01:15, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If the article was about an unknown nobody, then it would indeed be self-serving for them to have written about themselves. However, even a rudimentary examination of "The Stage" newspaper archives (starting in the early 1960's in this case) will reveal that Ted Craig is not only a highly eminent and respected Director, but also a significant contributor to his art form in a career spanning six decades, and an arguably notable historical figure. He is more than deserving of a wiki entry, by any standard, and far from being self-serving his entry thus far fails to fully express Mr Craig's noteworthiness! (Full disclosure: I knew and worked with Mr Craig in the late '80s and early '90s. Therefore, it is possible that I may be a little biased in his favour, but I honestly think I'm as objective as anybody here. The fact that I once knew the subject does not automatically make me predisposed to bias.) I recognise the name of another person who used to work with him too, who has also been working on this entry. In fact, the history is surprisingly full of tinkering! I hope someone with more time than me can wrestle this article into fuller and more encyclopaedic shape. Biased or not, I fully believe that its subject deserves to be properly biographised!
