Japanese Version on SNES[edit]

The Japanese release of the SNES version is called "Mutant Warriors" and has some differences, but I don't know if they'd be worth inclusion. In it, the character Aska wears a thong and has a bouncing breast animation for her winning pose (other characters just use a still frame for theirs). Also the voice samples used for the turtles are a bit more clear.

Well I have placed longer info on Aska; but I am considering that perhaps she should have an article on her own. I was planning to do it, but I wanted to include her ending which I do not remember.

More on Asuka[edit]

Why did they removed her page, and place all ofher info on a List of Characters page? The other characters have their page despite being short, why can't Aska have her own? El Chompiras 19:43, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Karai?[edit]

I have beaten this game and have not seen Karai. Where is she in the game?

Well she is the final boss, maybe you need to play at a higher difficulty; out of that I am not sure.
Whoever put the crap about Karai having bishssoudfsnfsin qualities should really lay off the damn ramen and Japanimation crap for a little while.

Karai needs some game info in her article. --HanzoHattori 13:15, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Cover Turtles"[edit]

Purely speculation here, but it may very well be the lack of a Mikey covered version of the Game was made up for by his being the only turtle on the cover of the 3rd Game Boy game, which he was the lead character in. --oknazevad 08:59, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It was Leonardo that was on the cover of this game, not Mikey. You can see that he's holding the Katana sword drilling through stones or blocks, at least in the US release shows this on the box cover.

Old rumor, but Mikey's cover was supposed to be for a Sega CD or 3DO version of the game, but Konami didn't want to invest the money for a platform that, either at the time, may only have 50,000 units. Anyways, it's just a rumor that I read a long time ago in a magazine. I don't even remember the magazine. It's really not worth citing. Coffee5binky (talk) 15:04, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rat King[edit]

He "considers himself a rat even though he has not been mutated". When has the Rat King ever considered himself to be a rat?

NO Mirror Match on NES[edit]

including a clone of the player's character

There's NO Mirror Match for NES version. Three fights then bonus game. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.8.110.113 (talk) 03:23, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

That's referring to the two-player and vs CPU modes, where both players (or the player-selected, computer controlled opponent in the latter) can be the same character (except Hothead, whose 2-player mode was dummied out because having two of the character overtaxes the NES hardware). oknazevad (talk) 02:36, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Cowbunga Collection Enhancements?[edit]

Would it be okay if the Cowabunga Collection enhancements can be added in the descriptions for each version of Tournament Fighters?

For example...

In the SNES version, there's an enhancement that allows you to play as Karai & the Rat King in Versus Mode, increasing the playable character roster in Versus Mode from 10 to 12.

In the Genesis version, it's sole enhancement allows you to play as Triceraton, Krang's Android, and Karai in ANY game mode (1 player, Tournament, 2 player, & practice), increasing the playable character roster from 8 to 11.

Let me know whether or not these enhancements for the Cowabunga Collection editions of these game should be added in here. Trekker-J1 (talk) 21:08, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
