The tiles

[edit]

I am working on a translation of the article, but I am not sure about the meaning of "its wall-to-wall Minton-Hollins tiles and its snob screens". Does that mean that the tiles are covering the entire floor, as in wall-to-wall carpet? Cheers, Jopparn (talk) 22:38, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No, it means that they are on all the walls, and on most of the surface of each wall. You could say "its ubiquitous use of Minton-Hollins tiles and its snob screens" or "its use of Minton-Hollins tiles throughout, and its snob screens". Thank you for making a translation! I will try to find a photograph of the interior, or take one, next week. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 23:45, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
