A bit slanted?

[edit]

As of the beginning of December, I've noticed that the reviews cited here are unusually (at least in my opinion) bright, and the repeated use of the phrase "perfectly positive" seems unusual. I think a bit of balance might be in order?

Badly translated text

[edit]

The text in the Plot section is very obviously translated (very poorly) into English from another language. Should be entirely rewritten. It's basically useless as is for an English reader. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.48.150.176 (talk) 21:36, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

But at least there was something there for you to be able to critique although not change or improve. We all can, and it seems that there are those that only, is critique that with which they do not agree with or appreciate. The very idea of WP is that nothing will serve as forever; things will change and for that person if it was (as characterized by another as a bad translation into English from another language) give someone some encouragement foe attempting. How many languages can you translate, compose in from the original or speak?76.170.88.72 (talk) 04:21, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Differences of previous plot with reworked plot

[edit]

There is no mention of nationality in the film. Identification of nationality by accent is speculation since someone can have an accent of a country from which they may not be a national.76.170.88.72 (talk) 03:17, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not so certain that the film establishes by some fact that as said in the cast text (as of 3/21/14) that there was a German and an American identification as such unless it is based on the sound of someone's voice, or what is assumed in a c=review comment. I had a friend that when he stayed up too long and got tired his "American" accent would gradually turn British and he was born/raised/and native Russian. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.170.88.72 (talk) 04:29, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Country (conflict)

[edit]

The director is spanish,It was filmed in Thailand and some actors are American,Should we include all three countries? Because all those countries contributed to the movie,I think it'd be fair to mention them.---ChamithN (talk) 17:22, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

We should go by what reliable sources say, not draw our own conclusions. DonIago (talk) 17:46, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The Impossible (2012 film)The Impossible – It is well-known than others -- Kanghuitari (talk) 02:02, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The name of the film is The Impossible, not Impossible. DonIago (talk) 14:31, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The target "The Impossible" is a disambiguation page. It should merge to "Impossible", also a disambiguation page. -- 65.94.40.137 (talk) 05:21, 31 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
