False Plot

[edit]

The plot for this film is false, especially about the snake, Kaa. Kaa only appeared once or twice, and did not join forces with Shere Khan, a word of advice, please when you write a plot for a film, please watch the film before you write... 122.53.216.66 (talk) 14:03, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed the false plot, deleted the Kaa parts being untrue, and the monkeys insulting Shanti, dude, whoever wrote that plot, either is stupid or didn't watch the movie, or maybe is a punk, who like to vandalize articles, either way, I fixed it, hope nobody changes it, but if someone can improve on it, you're most welcome to... 122.53.216.66 (talk)13:38, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The part about the monkeys is sort of true. After Baloo took Mowgli to King Louie's temple (Louie, of course, was absent) and they had that wild party, Baloo was saying something to the monkeys about Shanti but I don't remember what. 69.3.146.132 (talk) 00:25, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If I remember correctly he said Stanti was crazy. He said other stuff too I think. Remember when Mowgli told Ballo about how terrible the village was? "All you ever hear is "Rules, rules, rules" and "work, work, work"." P. S. I thought Stanti was cute. And Kaa is so funny and chessy lol. 74.249.96.148 (talk) 21:49, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Lol I know. 74.249.96.19 (talk) 22:33, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Did any actors reprise their roles?

[edit]

Article should state whether any actors from the original The Jungle Book reprised their roles in this sequel. Tempshill (talk) 15:26, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think any of them reprised their roles. I think the original actors all either died or were to old to play their original role. 69.3.146.132 (talk) 00:21, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No. Haley Joel Osment did Mowgli and John Goodman did Baloo. Bruce Reitherman did Mowgli in the first film and Phil Harris did Baloo. 74.249.96.19 (talk) 22:40, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hidden Appearances

[edit]

Timon was never seen. The fish only had markings similar to that of Flounder, but their faces where different. 203.196.190.162 (talk) 18:14, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, Timon DID appear. He was right next to Pumbaa. 66.167.206.173 (talk) 00:13, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't see him. I'll watch the movie again some time. Also the fish and the warthog don't really look like Flounder and Pumbaa, but I'll watch it again just too be sure. 74.249.96.148 (talk) 21:49, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Splitsville

[edit]

According to Baloo, what does he mean "King Louie's Splitsville"?--Jrstarwars22 (talk) 21:42, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The film's music

[edit]

I just looked up the last part of the film on YouTube and found out that it was Joel McNeely composing the music for the film, so Wikipedia and the Internet Movie Database are wrong because it wasn't Patrick Griffin who did the score at all. Can someone please replace Patrick Griffin with Joel McNeely in the article since it wasn't true? Check it out here! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.212.42.203 (talk) 19:23, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can somebody please change the artical saying that was really Joel McNeely composing the score for the film, since it's too locked for me to change it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.212.37.209 (talk) 17:28, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Third sequel status

[edit]

The article stated "It is the third Disney sequel to have a theatrical release rather than going direct-to-video after The Rescuers Down Under in 1990 and Return to Neverland in 2002." There were theatrical sequels to other Disney films in the past (Old Yeller and Savage Sam; The Absent-Minded Professor and Son of Flubber). I added the qualifying word "animated". Video game

[edit]

A video game based on the film was released for the Game Boy Advance on November 15, 2002, published by Ubisoft Entertainment and developed by Disney Interactive. --TheLennyGriffinFan1994 (talk) 01:54, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Additional Overview

[edit]

A good addition to the movie overview would be "Mowgli has adapted to life in the Man Village since the end of the first film, but he hopes to return to the jungle. However, Shere Khan the tiger, humiliated by his previous defeat at Mowgli's hands, has returned to settle a score with Mowgli." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.112.97.43 (talkcontribs)

Movie Plot Corrections

[edit]

What actually happened in the movie is that Shere Khan didn't chase Shanti, just Mowgli, and Baloo and Shanti joined forces to save him. Plus, Shere Khan was trapped in the mouth of the statue after he fell onto the stone in the lava pit. Also, Mowgli, Shanti, and Ranjan were allowed to visit Baloo and Bagheera in the jungle. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.112.97.43 (talk) 17:17, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
