[edit]it better be the damn last --71.101.33.94 (talk) 19:49, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
- Nope, according to Comic-con, they recently signed a four year extension. So, the show could potentially be around for 23 seasons. -- Scorpion0422 19:51, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
YAY!
THOH XIX
[edit]Since THOH XIX has a plot, it shouldn't be in the Known Titles section. Should we make a new section called Known episodes with title and plot or something? ( just a suggestion =P ) TheLeftorium «talk» 21:55, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- No, because the episode has its own page. Once we know the airdate of the episode, we'll create a table similar to the ones on the other season pages. -- Scorpion0422 22:18, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
Same episode?
[edit]I found this link, and if you look around the middle of the page Al Jean quotes:
- Well, we have an episode that will air in March where Homer has to get some poison to kill some rats in his kitchen, it’s a bit like Ratatouille, they make him a meal but it’s okay, it’s not great, so he wants to kill the rats.
- He leaves Maggie on the doorstep of a convent where they take her and then it turns into a Da Vinci Code satire where they have some use for Maggie at this convent that may involve world peace and they’re trying to get Maggie back. It has National Treasure elements in it and there’s this really cool complicated story line. It’s one of the kinds of shows that are like the one that just won the Emmy, a little different, a little more visually stylistic. I’m really looking forward to that one.
Does that mean that both of them are in the same episode, or two individual ones? Note that in the second paragraph, Jean doesn't say "Homer leaves Maggie on the doorstep of a convent", but continues off saying "He leaves Maggie on the doorstep of a convent". My point is, are they the same episode? A (Reply!,Contribs!) 20:27, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
- It's possible, but right now we don't know so they should be kept seperate. -- Scorpion0422 20:30, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
20 episodes?
[edit]"The delay in production has caused the planned 22 episodes to be shortened to 20."
Isn't this just for season 19? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.137.36.31 (talk) 18:50, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- Good question, we can't even view the source. CTJF83Talk 18:53, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- The season 19 run (KABF) was supposedly cut from 23 to 22 (although it is possible they cut it even more). The LABF run has apparantly been cut to 20. -- Scorpion0422 19:05, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- They are producing 20 episodes, but they could have episodes that were suppose to air in season 19, air during season 20. We have removed the number of episodes, as it could be more than 20, because of season 19 episode hold overs. CTJF83Talk 19:08, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Bi-monthly to air?
[edit]Goes to air in the US two times each month - not four? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.17.74.192 (talk) 19:37, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- Most likely no. The reason it aired one episode in Sept. was because the season started later than usual. The reason there are only two episodes confirmed to air in Oct. is because of other special conflicting events, like pro football. You should check the schedual on at this link for upcoming episodes, it updates itself normally from Thursday - Saturday. Ay (Reply!,Contribs!) 21:33, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
'One episode will be aired after 9pm in the UK'
[edit]This does not refer to a season 20 episode at all, but rather a season 19 episode, Love Springfieldian Style, which was delayed until December and is probably being classed as part of season 20 by Sky: http://www.snpp.com/upcoming/uk.html#sky —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.32.48.236 (talk) 08:46, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- I quite agree. A talk 17:55, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
20 episodes?
[edit]The article says the number of episodes is 20, but it has names for 21 of them! I guess it's possible one or more of those will be held over to season 21, but there is a contradiction here at the moment. Does anyone have enough knowledge to identify how to clean it up? For example, is the 20 estimate less reliable while all 21 titles are certain season 20 episodes? Or is it less easy than that? I don't know, but maybe someone will. 129.67.55.156 (talk) 09:08, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- 20 episodes will be produced for season 20, meaning there will be 20 LABF episodes. However, there are still 8-9 KABF episodes produced for the previous season. -- Scorpion0422 13:04, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- I just have to know, why aren't the new episode release dates announced yet? 58.152.240.124 (talk) 14:41, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
Because they're not finished/the date hasn't been assigned yet/ they want to keep it a surprise.
Someone please add a caption to the episode "four great women and a manicure"
[edit]Basically every episode in the whole list of Simpsons episodes has a caption, im surprised an episode this recent does not. —Preceding unsigned comment added by A9l8e7n (talk--A9l8e7n (talk) 21:52, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- Caption... Do you mean image? -- Scorpion0422 22:03, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
yes, my bad--A9l8e7n (talk) 22:05, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- It used to have one, but it was deleted. I don't have any access to the episode, so I can't add a screenshot of my own. There really isn't a pressing need to add one and it's getting to the point where we aren't allowed to have lead images for episode articles (ie. Cartman Gets an Anal Probe). -- Scorpion0422 22:12, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
I don't see what is wrong with it. The images grabs the readers attention, and makes the article more interesting. Also, the image gives us a background of what the episode is all about.--A9l8e7n (talk) 22:19, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- A918e7n, can you please keep this on one page, it is too confusing when you hop around. CTJF83 chat 22:20, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
i saw you put "discussion here, so thats why i continued the discussion here--A9l8e7n (talk) 22:22, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- no, lol, please click on "here" for a link. CTJF83 chat 22:23, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
Hey guys!
[edit]I added te Billboard gag to the template. So can everyone add the billboard gag section. Preceding unsigned comment added by RTY1998 (talk) • (contribs) (talk) 19:21, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- I oppose this, they aren't notable, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of The Simpsons billboard gags CTJF83 GoUSA 19:28, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
RECEPTION
[edit]Must every season have a "reception" section, that's no more than a review from some random guy at IGN? I'm starting to wonder if its this person himself, adding his quotes to every article. He's not important, or relevant so why does his opinion need to be here at all? I think we need proof that's it not him adding his own reviews to each article, otherwise they should be deleted.
- I assure you, it's not him. It is the regulars at WP:DOH. He has reviewed tons of episodes and many other TV shows, that makes him notable for reviews. CTJF83 00:02, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
Orphaned references in The Simpsons (season 20)
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of The Simpsons (season 20)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "Cast":
- From The Simpsons (season 13): McCann 2005, pp. 118–119
- From Yokel Chords: Yokel Chords @ IMDb
- From The Simpsons (season 10): Gimple 1999, pp. 97–98
- From The Simpsons (season 6): Richmond, pp. 178-179
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 19:52, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
