Box Art
[edit]I recommend we take down the box art due to the fact that the games protagonist has changed and that will definitely not be the game cover come release day Cheers, Dubbya9 22:29, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

Timeshift 2?
[edit]I watched the credits, it ends with "/we are not finished yet". Also, it didn't end in a paradox but the prevention of one. I'm suprised I couldn't find this anywhere else, but aren't those like clues?.86.86.36.63 (talk) 20:22, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
Timeshift : Timeparadox Eminent
[edit]My theory after watching some recorded footage is, In the beginning, when you start a new game, you are going to use the suit to get back in time to stop Krone. The bomb explodes in the building and you go back in time. At the end of the game, you have just killed Krone in the past, you come back in the normal time, the timer of the bomb goes from 3..2..1... kaboom. You reverse time of the bomb, to stop the bomb and save your wife, yet because you stopped the bomb, you actually never went back in time. While reversing the time, to stop the bomb, you prevented yourself from going back in time (your other self went in time just as the bomb exploded), so you prevented yourself to kill Krone and in the end you can never come back from the past to stop the bomb as you never went to the past, because the bomb never exploded. Timeparadox.
I think, that in order to save himself from creating a Timeparadox, safe his wife and kill Krone in the past,
(Option A : Creating a new Timeparadox)
He (the player) has to stay in the timezone where he killed Krone. The player should never use the origin drive from the Alpha Suit (the one Krone is wearing) to jump back to the original time. This will cause that he (the player) will never see his wife again, cause as soon as he jumps back to the original time, the bomb is ticking. Stopping the bomb from ticking will prevent his other self from going back thus creating Timeparadox, letting the bomb explode will kill his wife. Staying in the alternated timezone, will only cause that his other self jumps in the past to start hunting Krone. Yet than there are 2 of the same guy, with the same suit, in the same timezone. Timeparadox!
(Option B : Safe and kill yourself)
Most logical solution is, that as soon as he enters the normal time, the one with the bomb ticking, he has to stop the time, not touching the bomb, grab his wife, go outside to a safe place and than start running the time again. The bomb will than explode, your other self goes back in time to stop Krone and your wife is saved by you (the player). However, to avoid a new time paradox, after your other self kills Krone in the past, you (the player) has to kill himself as there can never be 2 of the same guy in the same timezone.
Whenever there will be a sequel, it will be a whole new game in my honest opinion. Unless some other game developer takes Timeshift 2 to a different level. MISTERAMD (talk) 18:38, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
The problems of this article are quite obvious:
- Gameplay and reception need major expansion.
- Some of development and reception is not properly referenced.
Still, it meets the criteria for C-class. User:Krator (t c) 19:13, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
