So is it in Roppongi, or in Akasaka, Tokyo (as that article suggests)? --64.149.43.206 (talk) 20:38, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is not in the roppongi district, but sits right at the border. Hence, technically it is not roppongi, but causally it is addressed as being in roppongi. -- Chris 73 | Talk 15:42, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was listening to Pitbull's song Feel This Moment, and he sings "Reporting live, from the tallest building in Tokyo". This picked my curiosity.

The tallest buildings in Tokyo at the moment of the song's release (February 22, 2013) were Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower, and Tokyo Midtown. If we exclude lattice towers, that leaves us with Tokyo Midtown.

Looking at the clip, there is a scene where we see Pitbull near the window of his hotel room, and it perfectly matches the view from the Ritz Carlton at the top of Tokyo Midtown (you can check by either renting a room or running Google Earth). Same angle on Yoyogi, Omotesando, Jingumae, the Oracle building and Shinjuku. So I think we can conclude he was indeed talking about Tokyo Midtown.

It is original research so I just let it on this talk page. Cheers! Syced (talk) 11:01, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
