The result of the move request was: Page moved. The Duke 23:12, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
Tom Wright (rugby union) → Tom Wright (rugby, born 1997) – Per MOS for players that have played both codes. Should not have been moved to Tom Wright (rugby union) as that would his current code, but not his only one. Long held consensus on the requested move nomenclature. - Support per nomination. It is counterintuitive to have one entry for Tom Wright (rugby league) and another for Tom Wright (rugby union) when the "(rugby union)" player also played for rugby league. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 09:36, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
- Support. But we can't really leave the other one at Tom Wright (rugby league) either. Tom Wright (1930s rugby league)? -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:01, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
- Comment. Since the birth year and, very likely, death year (If Tom Wright was even 21 years old in 1931, he would be 109 in 2019) for the earlier player is missing, an analogous form for the two players might be Tom Wright (rugby, 1930s) and Tom Wright (rugby, 2010s). —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 13:50, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
- It's fine to keep the year of birth for the one we do know, which is our standard dab method. The earlier player only seems to have played rugby league and we generally only put a birth date after a comma, not just a decade of activity. We don't have to make both disambiguators consistent, just to make them obvious. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:08, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
