Yeah, I just saw an episode of Robot Chicken that closed with "Sit, Ubu, sit! Bad dog!", followed by a sound like a shotgun firing twice. If anyone wants to look that up in more detail and, you know, add it to the article.24.159.213.51 04:28, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just watched Femme Fatales on Cinemax. In the end there is the "Radioactive Fishtank" logo, with an ominous voice saying "Kill, Ubu, kill! Good fish." Both of these might be interesting additions for the popular culture section to emphasise the influence of Ubu Productions. 89.217.40.166 (talk) 22:36, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Big bolshy yarbles to both of you.

"Ubu is from Time Warner from WWE Smackdown." What does that even mean? 71.194.211.214 18:31, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ubu died in 1984 - when in 1984?

[edit]

Was it early or late 1984? If it was late 1984, then his name and picture graced the TV for almost three years at the end of his life, if early 1984, then not quite two years. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.72.205.221 (talk) 18:43, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ubu died in 1976, his owner Producer Gary David Goldberg says so in response to an audience question in the 1988 TV documentary 'Inside Family Ties'. Pmcken (talk) 12:59, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
