Discography

[edit]

A discography section is needed quite desperately.

[edit]

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I understood that Vince spent his last days working as a cleaner at Lucerne Airport, and that he died as a result of syphilis?

That is a lie... Vince died of Bonecancer as you can read in my book "Muziek van de duivel" by Jean Thomassen published by Aspekt- Soesterberg- The Netherlands. The books included also rare photo's and information.212.127.210.168 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 15:23, 3 February 2009 (UTC).[reply]
Even worse, the present article suffers from very little referencing. As such it has numerous dubious, POV fancruft and hear'say statements, which are not verifiable. Can someone improve the situation - it presently reads more like a fan based website / promo rather than the encyclopedic article it is supposed to be. Thanks,

I don't know about the protocols, but as a casual observer, I find this article fabulous. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mynameispiers (talkcontribs) 22:34, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Marriage

[edit]

He married Perry (?) in London's Hapmstead Town Hall, but which year? Politis (talk) 10:52, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

I don't believe this is notable. Tapping in "Vince Taylor" and "Playboys" into http://everyhit.com indicates that nothing of his has ever charted, so I doubt his notability. Thoughts?--90.217.236.77 (talk) 14:40, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Vince's manager was Joe Singer

[edit]

Vince's manager was Joe Singer, Sheilas first husband, not Joe Barbera who she married later. My Mum is Vince's niece. Johnnystroudy (talk) 15:33, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You would need to provide some sources for those claims. Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 15:37, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

tangential non notable band members

[edit]

it seems more than half this article concerns vagaries of the members of his various bands. items that go to far off topic, and material unsourced, will be removed. 24.17.106.158 (talk) 24.17.106.158 (talk) 23:39, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
