View this page. I am not experienced enough to make Wiki edits, and most of the times I have tried they have been reverted, but could someone please update this page to reflect the fact that Wataniya Airways has ceased operations.
Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.145.178.17 (talk) 00:33, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Wataniya Airways. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20101130164113/http://wataniyaairways.com/eng/aboutWataniyaAirways/newsroom/20100526WataniyaAirwaysStaffServiceRecognizedforExcellence.jsp to http://www.wataniyaairways.com/eng/aboutWataniyaAirways/newsroom/20100526WataniyaAirwaysStaffServiceRecognizedforExcellence.jsp
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}

Edit war
[edit]Hi guys, please calm down. @130.105.208.199: and @CBG17: if you carry on edit warring you will probably get your access blocked. What is the problem here? — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 14:44, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
@Steelpillow: why did you just revert this page back to vandalism that someone else performed? the war isn't on this page it is on the destinations page.
- Because Wikipedia was not built in a day. Have patience my friend, I am doing you a favour here, I am trying to calm you down and get you talking before an admin blocks you for edit warring. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 14:50, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
How are you doing me a favour if you just vandalised the wrong page again? @Steelpillow: CBG17 (Talk) 14:54, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
- Because the first thing is to stop you warring before you get blocked. You want that? — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 15:02, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
look you clearly don't know what is going on here the war is on Wataniya Airways destinations not Wataniya Airways and you have reverted some thing on the Wataniya Airlines page which was vandalism so right now you are in the wrong for vandalising that page so if you want to try and help actually find the right page first instead of vandalising other pages which are perfectly fine. CBG17 (Talk) 15:07, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
- I have protected the page from editing for the moment, can you please sort out between you and come to a consensus, thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 16:50, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
@MilborneOne: The destination page needs to be protected as well CBG17 (Talk) 16:55, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
- I really don't see what consensus needs to be reached, I restored former route historic data with reference in table format, it was deleted and replaced by just new routes in old text style list, and project admin is just watching from the side letting it happen and asking for some consensus when I did everything wiki approved, restoring my previous edit.139.190.254.44 (talk) 04:21, 22 July 2017 (UTC)
- Well, that is the whole point of talking it through here. Your behaviour of edit warring without discussion here was certainly not wiki approved. My guess is that your edit was undone because there seemed no point in duplicating the content of the Wataniya Airways destinations list here and a "main article" link is sufficient. @CBG17: is that correct? — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 04:43, 22 July 2017 (UTC)
This is true CBG17 (Talk) 20:00, 22 July 2017 (UTC)
- what are you going on about? what did I duplicate? I created a wiki standard table format list in with referenced former and new routes what is wrong with that? why is this chap removing it and replacing it with old text list and only new destinations? why are admin allowing flouting wiki standards?139.190.254.44 (talk)
- Please can you confirm whether you are talking about older edits you made to this article or more recent ones made to Wataniya Airways destinations? I'd like to make sure whether or not we are talking at cross-purposes here, then I can answer your question more sensibly. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 08:13, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
- Talking about edits made since the article was created, help me understand why a table format list with former and current referenced routes per wiki standards is so offensive, that it's being removed, needs consensus and deliberated over by admin whether to retain it or keep old text style list with just three destinations, what are you people smoking? around 2010 it was decided destination lists are to be in a simplified table format by consensus and that old text style lists will be updated to table format over a period of time, also Wikipedia says historic route information if properly referenced can be included in the list, so what is the problem? and why was a destinations article created to accommodate just three routes? why couldn't they be listed in main Wataniya article in text list format? 139.190.254.44 (talk) 08:57, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
- I am sorry, but you are being extremely unclear. For example "Talking about edits made since the article was created" - well, firstly we could hardly be talking about edits made before the article was created and secondly you are still not saying which article - this one here at Wataniya Airways or the companion article at Wataniya Airways destinations? At present I have absolutely no idea which edits, where or when, that you are referring to. An alternative way to indicate them is a "diff" link from the article history. If you do not give clear answers to simple questions, you can hardly be surprised when we decline to smoke the same stuff that you appear to be on. If I may offer another tip: make small, single-issue edits and wait a good while before making the next one. For example change the format of a list but not its content. That will help to clarify the reasons for any reversions. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 12:20, 28 July 2017 (UTC)

To try and stop this I have added a paragraph stating the routes the airline operated in the first time of operations but the person in question has removed this again, the person also keeps saying that an "old style list" is not allowed, the guidelines say nothing of the sort lists are allowed which I have done but this person keeps removing it.
