The result of the move request was: consensus not to move the pages at this time, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 23:10, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

– According to WP:TVSEASON, if a season is referred to by a distinctive name, that name should be used in the page title, as done with Survivor: Borneo, American Horror Story: Murder House, etc. -- Radiphus 19:49, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I support this move only if Westworld (season 1) is also moved per consensus. ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:41, 11 April 2018 (UTC)moved from Talk:Westworld (season 2)-- Netoholic @ 03:05, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I support this move only if Westworld (season 2) is also moved per consensus. ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:41, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Note: I've merged the two move requests into one, as these should be handled together (no chance we'd name one using a different method than the other). I've moved Favre1fan93's and Another Believer's comments from the other talk page to here. -- Netoholic @ 03:05, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose These are subtitles for the season, but it is still generally known as "Westworld season x". Similar to the recent seasons of Archer. This is dissimilar to the examples provided and per TVSEASON because each of those provided are known more by their name with the subtitle rather than "Survivor (season x)" or "AHS (season x)". - Favre1fan93 (talk) 01:43, 12 April 2018 (UTC) moved from Talk:Westworld (season 2)-- Netoholic @ 03:05, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Boldfacing season-specific name in lead

[edit]

Should we boldface the season-specific name, The Maze, in the lead sentence of this page (and The Door in the season-two Westworld episode page)? I did so and was good faith reverted by AlexTheWhovian, who pointed to MOS:BOLDTITLE. I can't find specific language in MOS:BOLDTITLE which covers this, although I may have missed it. Titling an entire season, in this case the seasons of Westworld, and the question of its boldfacing in the lead on its episode pages, may be a more or less new phenomena, and I'd like to seek guidance from SMcCandlish. This would be unrelated to the RM above, which sought to include the season-specific name in the title, which I would have opposed as well but by the time I wandered out to take a look I saw the snow and went inside to get warm. Randy Kryn (talk) 17:09, 25 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nope. The Maze doesn't redirect here (BOLDTITLE, sentence 2; also at MOS:BOLDSYN). The purpose of bolding stuff other than the title is to indicate that the string is a title that redirects to the page so readers see it quickly and understand why they ended up at page named something different than what they expected. It's not "this is important" emphasis. The "usually" in BOLDSYN is to account for cases like "Foo, also known as Bar, Baz, or Quux", where the "Baz" item is actually not a redirect from "Baz", but maybe "Baz (footballer)", and so doesn't technically qualify but would look really weird de-bolded between the other two. It's not blanket license to just bold something for the hell of it. That should probably be clarified because disputes like this aren't uncommon.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  17:19, 25 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the full clarification, SMcCandlish. Randy Kryn (talk) 17:27, 25 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Investigating that actually pulled up a minor WP:POLICYFORK between MOS:BOLDSYN and MOS:BOLD. I added a footnote at the former and fixed the conflict at the latter.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  18:27, 25 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Actor?

[edit]

Who is the actor that plays the husband and wife visitors that get involved in the riot in town and ends up shooting the leader of the gang before he gets to give his planned speach? 2600:8801:9D19:9400:8994:7999:3563:C4CB (talk) 08:47, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
