Moved as proposed; the current title will be retargeted to the disambiguation page. BD2412 T 04:00, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
Winners Take All (book) → Winners Take All: The Elite Charade of Changing the World – I should have not disambiguated this page with (book) to begin with, per WP:SUBTITLE, WP:NATURALDIS, WP:NCDAB. I grieve in stereo (talk) 19:57, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
- Support - fix incoming links and redirect (book) to the DAB page. -- Netoholic @ 01:38, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- Support, if only as a matter of deference to the primary contributor, who could have used a different title from the start. —BarrelProof (talk) 05:16, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- I'm torn between original proposal, "Winners Take
sAll (Giridharadas book)", and "Winners TakesAll (2018 book)". The current title is ambiguous; there is Winner Takes All (novel), the Doctor Who novel. Alternative titles are either no better or... various. The proposed title is kinda... lengthy, even with the help of AutoComplete search tool. I can't be too sure how much WP:SUBTITLES encourages using book subtitles, depending on their lengths. On the other hand, despite WP:BOOKDAB encouraging use of an author's surname, I don't know who recognizes the author's surname Giridharadas; I just copied and pasted the surname because I couldn't spell the name exactly. Of course, there's AutoComplete. There's not much to say about the "2018" disambiguation except that the year may not be as recognizable as an author's surname.... unless I'm proven to stand corrected. George Ho (talk) 22:21, 27 March 2020 (UTC); self-corrected per below, 01:38, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- Well, firstly I think you're confused. This book's title Winners Take All, not Winner Take All. There are no other books with the title. I originally disambiguated the page because Winners Take All (album) exists. Secondly, I don't think the subtitle is all that lengthy especially when considering how long book subtitles typically get. I grieve in stereo (talk) 01:24, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
