Rename article to "Yuzu (..."

The article seems to be only about the Yuzu emulator, so the article title should be changed to match that. Maybe "Yazu (software)" or "Yazu (emulator)"? — GhostInTheMachine ^{talk to me} 09:23, 26 September 2022 (UTC)

"Is" or "was"

So it seems like a bit of an edit war on whether to say Yuzu was an emulator or isan emulator is going right now. Personally I am inclined to use "is" because you can still use it if you had downloaded it prior to the settlement with Nintendo and how "is" used for articles on other defunct emulators like Bleem!. Windows 95 is an operating system, despite having been discontinued for decades.

I think Yuzu will be forked. It is just on hiatus, but for software of course since it is out of support but still somewhere archived, it exists User73663828 (talk) 04:20, 5 March 2024 (UTC)

Too many mentions of the lawsuit?

The article mentions Yuzu was shut down by Nintendo 3 times. I feel like the mention in the 'Features' section should be removed since it's not really a 'feature' to have discontinued development, the other mentions of it make sense though. DaRealLando123 (talk) 00:09, 9 March 2024 (UTC)

Removal of Successor section

Straight to the point, suyu is an unofficial fork and is not the successor of yuzu. The yuzu team does not endorse this emulator and, frankly, its inclusion here reads like an advertisement for the fork.

Articles about forks of emulators should stick to the Emulation General Wiki, not on a Wikipedia page about the core emulator. If we are allowing one fork to be mentioned on the official Wikipedia page for an emulator, then any fork in existence could come and use the official Wikipedia page to advertise themselves.

If the mention of suyu is to be kept, I'd rather it be under a "Emulator fork" section, rather than "Successor". Purely because suyu is not the successor of yuzu, at all. It is an unofficial fork, like lots of other unofficial forks of yuzu that have been around for years. It being labelled as this is misleading. Sakuramipha (talk) 20:47, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
