WikiProject Biography Assessment

Some references and a bit more organization, and this would easily be a B.

13th Child

[edit]

Searches for the Thirteenth Child or 13th child show the totally unrelated horror movie, which may cause adults who consult Wikipedia to not buy the delightful children's book The Thirteenth Child.

What do people think about creating a page for the book, and/or a disambiguation page.

Cecilia and Kate stories

[edit]

First of all, I changed the title to include both protagonists. Only seems fair.

Second, I removed "or The Enchanted Chocolat Pot" from Sorcery and Cecelia. It was hard to format, and if we're going into full titles it should be, first Sorcery and Cecelia or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot: Being the Correspondence of Two Young Ladies of Quality Regarding Various Magical Scandals in London and the Country, then The Grand Tour : Being a Revelation of Matters of High Confidentiality and Greatest Importance, Including Extracts from the Intimate Diary of a Noblewoman and the Sworn Testimony of a Lady of Quality, and that's just too much. (I made the titles bold because otherwise it was hard to weed out the text from the titles.)

I'll concede that the Chocolate Pot part is debatable, which is why I'm adding this note. Personally, I think it looks neater without it, and it's never listed that way in other books.

There's a book club edition of both Mairelon books call Magic and Malice, so it seemed reasonable to call the set that.

Niece and nephews

[edit]

I see no reason for the niece and nephew count with place of residence unless those nieces and nephews had a large impact on her. Mentioning sons and daughters might be standard, but why does it matter how many further related people she has? --88.130.178.160 (talk) 06:26, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

She mentions it in her bio, probably because she's written several books aimed at teenagers as well as adults. (BTW, I've just added a bunch of refs to said bio to the first few paragraphs.) I think we should retain that info. Cheers, CWC 15:56, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
