Great Eastern Hotel (Kolkata)

[edit]

Great Eastern Hotel, ca. 1870

Created by RegentsPark (talk). Nominated by Drmies (talk) at 22:43, 12 April 2013 (UTC).

New article that is long enough and suitably referenced. No copyviolation detected. In the book written by Denby, it does not say that it was the city's second hotel, so that needs fixing. The hook is not supported by the given source, in which it states (my emphasis): "It was probably the first hotel in the country to be illuminated by electric lights." Modified the hook. Modified the reference to Spence Hotel. --regentspark (comment) 23:58, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
ALT1 is good to go. Schwede66 01:08, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
