Opera Lafayette
[edit]- ... that in 2012, Opera Lafayette staged Le Roi et le Fermier at the Royal Opera of Versailles using recently rediscovered sets from a 1780 production?
5x expanded by LavaBaron (talk). Self-nominated at 14:00, 21 August 2016 (UTC).
- Interesting company, nicely reviewed in the press. The hook is overly long, - not counting, just to complicated to grasp. I have a few wishes for the article: please don't squeeze text between image and infobox, get rid of unused parameters in the infobox, clarify when you speak of the historic production and when of a recent one, get rid of a stub class. Main concern: we need a bit more prose, it's not quite a 5*expansion. Good luck, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:05, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
- Gerda Arendt, I believe the article expansion is sufficient: the article was 403 prose characters prior to the start of LavaBaron's expansion (and had been that long since 2014), which is what counts; at 2106 prose characters today, it is above the 2015 prose characters required for a 5x expansion. Since this is a LavaBaron article, all reviews need to be complete and mention all the standard DYK criteria, and a second review will be needed in addition to your own if you continue. The stub issue has been taken care of, and from EEng's comment the hook may have been as well (it looks fine to me, though the word "recently" could be dropped without harm). Thanks. - Thank you, - I just followed the DYK check, - no idea why the result is different.
- 2nd review needed, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:12, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
- Second full review needed. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:30, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
- New enough, long enough, sourced, neutral, hook is short enough, sourced. No sign of close paraphrasing. I do not know why the DYK check tool missed the expansion. Hook is still a bit clumsy, but adequate. Good to go. I am not allowed to suggest an ALT and tick the article, so will not suggest ALT1 below. Aymatth2 (talk) 12:03, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- ALT1 ... that Opera Lafayette staged Le Roi et le Fermier in 2012 using backdrops from 1780?
