Substantial interesting article, on excellent sources, subscription sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. The image is licensed and shows clearly. How about mentioning that she led personally in battle? I am not sure if her name should apear with Hawai'ian apostrphes here (article lead) and without there (hook). - I'd put it the other way around, because "pictured personally" made me read twice ;)

- For background, to have the war first would be even better, but I'd prefer to start with her.
