Template talk:AFL (video game series)
Discussion
[edit]Well, okay. What is your rationale for why we should expand the focus of a navigational template? Why should a navigational template make an exception solely for video game articles when it comes to linking to sections? What is the difference between lists and templates if they serve nearly the same purpose in this set-up? - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Well, the templates there to help the reader find the games article. Either if there on their own article or if their on a article with other games. It helps the reader find out where they can read about the game they want. - GuineaPigWarrior 22:45, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
That's not the purpose of a navigational template. Once a navigational template has told you all of the related articles, its purpose is done. It's not supposed to tell readers what all of the games in a series are. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 16:36, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
Well, for an example, look at the FIFA template it has every game in the series on it's template and it's an article on sport games and so is the AFL video game series so I don't get you logic on how this template should lose some of the games it has on it. - GuineaPigWarrior 13:10, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
- I'm sure an article out there someone has a summary of how to defeat the bosses from the article's subject game. Does it mean that another article should be able to? That another template does it doesn't mean it should. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 04:41, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
