Template talk:Editnotices/Group/Wikipedia:Articles for deletion
This is the talk page of the group notice for Wikipedia:Articles for deletion and all its subpages. Template:Editnotices/Group/Wikipedia:Articles for deletion can only be edited by administrators, page movers, and template editors. All editnotices (except those in userspace) are protected via MediaWiki:Titleblacklist, so the "protection" status as set by the protection tab is mostly irrelevant. |

[edit]With respect, this is extremely annoying, especially on small screens; I have to scroll down to see the edit box at my normal browsing size. Could it at least get wrapped in a div with a css class that I can set display:none? —Korath (Talk) 14:34, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Sure, I was also thinking about making it collapsible (so that it defaults to collapsed). That might also do the trick. Regards, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 14:44, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- If it defaulted collapsible, the people who most need to see it probably won't ever. —Korath (Talk) 14:49, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yet people (and by that I mostly mean me) who don't need to see it find it rather annoying and excessively big. Can we at least use a smaller font? Two of these things take up a very nice chunk of my 4:3 screen. — Rankiri (talk) 23:12, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Fix
[edit]{{editprotected}} Please change (such as "keep" or "delete") to (such as keep or delete). The quotation marks are unnecessary and somewhat redundant to the bold. Thanks, Reywas92Talk 03:05, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Leave a little note about comment formatting
[edit]{{editprotected}}
Can we leave a little note about leaving comments so it makes for easier reading? Something like:
*Use a "*" for new threads, use a ":" for replies on a thread and sign all comments with "~~~~"
- It's already there ("discussion guidelines are available"). —Korath (Talk) 06:57, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
Deactivated request for now, please continue to discuss whether this change is warranted. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:55, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
Grammar
[edit]The template currently says, "and that comments on people rather than the article is considered disruptive." The word "is" is ungrammatical here. I suggest that it be replaced with "may be". Can we establish consensus please as this is required before we may use {{edit protected}}. Colonel Warden (talk) 20:27, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

Please use the WP:Articles for deletion discussion guidelines redirect I made to fix the link for the “discussion guidelines are available” phrase. It should be easier to maintain with a redirect. Vadmium (talk, contribs) 12:11, 24 October 2011 (UTC).
- Done since the link was currently broken. Anomie⚔ 02:02, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

I believe that Info talk.png should be changed to Information icon.svg. JC · History · Talk · Contributions 03:03, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

Change the bolded "Disambiguation" to "Disambiguate" so it's a verb like Keep or Delete. — pythoncoder (talk | contribs) 19:13, 14 January 2019 (UTC)

The Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Administrator instructions link needs to be moved over to the left, as it is covering the link to this template in the Articles for deletion editnotices. ToThAc (talk) 15:27, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
