please update to use the sandbox version of this template. this fixes the output of
{{subst:ivory messagebox|{{lorem}}|File:Ambox notice.svg|imagesize=40px}}
by switching to the lua module for the image processing, rather than using the now less-widely used {{image}}
template (which doesn't substitute cleanly, and is more computationally intensive).
check the testcases for comparisons between the two versions (when they are not substituted). Frietjes (talk) 15:35, 9 August 2014 (UTC)

Something's not right
[edit]@MSGJ: I'm not positive it was the edits that were just made to this template, but see Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard#Reminder for April Fools' Day jokes where this template is used -- the ivory box now goes the length of the page instead of ending at the closing "}}". - @Boing! said Zebedee: removed the template, see permalink. Rgrds. --64.85.217.58 (talk) 13:41, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you - it seems there was a small bug which slipped through my tests. Hopefully fixed now. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:52, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
Smaller image
[edit]For some reason, Izno added a max-width to the div tag here, which did not have the desired effect. Larger images were still rendering larger and overlapping the text. Assuming good faith (because the edit summaries did not enlighten me), I have added a maxsize to the image to match the max-width. If the image is too small now, both max sizes can be adjusted upward. – Jonesey95 (talk) 19:49, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
