Collage

[edit]

Until few days ago, this template featured as picture a logotype related to the feminist ideology, which I found misleading. The mislead consists of suggestion that most women engaged in Spanish Civil War were pursuing a feminist, progressist agenda. I have created a collage, which I believe presents in fair way women engaged in the Nationalist and Republican sides. I have included in this collage also some propaganda, again from both sides, and placed as a central image a neutral photo of young women knitting and fighting hardships of daily life. I have replaced the feminist logotype with this collage.

I realise some articles - e.g. on women on the Republican side of the war - also use this very template. Sure in the article on women supporting the Republicans photos of Pilar Primo de Rivera or Maria Urraca Pastor are out of place. I believe in this case a new template is needed: on pro-Republican women. --83.10.41.93 (talk) 19:42, 22 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
