The School of Computing, Information and Data Sciences (SCIDS) is the newest of twelve schools at the University of California, San Diego.[1] The proposal for the school was submitted on March 24, 2022.[2] The University of California Board of Regents has approved the creation of the school on July 18, 2024.[1]
