University of Sadat City (Arabic: جامعة مدينة السادات) is an Egyptian Governmental University, at first, established as a branch of Menofia University then considered as a self-governmental University, which founded by the presidential decree no. 180/2013, on 13/03/2013, The USC campus, is conveniently located in Sadat city - Northwestern Cairo.

The USC campus currently comprises eight colleges and two institutes.

  • Faculty Of Pharmacy
  • Faculty Of Commerce

Mission

"The USC is committed to prepare graduates who have the ability to cope with local labor market needs, through educational, research and community services that encourage the innovation and excellence within the framework of sustainable development"

Goals and Objectives

To achieve the vision and mission of the University, the following objectives for the support of University goals have been established

University Goal 1: “University establishments achieve the national standards”

Objectives:

  1. Complete the university establishments and faculties.
  2. Develop the university’s infrastructure, establishments and faculties.
  3. Establish the university’s hospital, medical faculties, and atypical faculties (applied health science, technical engineering and advanced science technology).
  4. Update the appliances and equipment for various halls and laboratories at the faculties and institutes at the University.

University Goal 2: “Outstanding performance of human resources”

Objectives:

  1. Develop the efficiency of university’s leaders.
  2. Provide effective systems for choosing, appointing, following-up and evaluating the academic and administrative leaderships.
  3. Provide training and qualifying faculty staff and their assistants, and the administrative staff.
  4. Provide an effective and stimulating environment to achieve the satisfaction of those who in charge of the educational, research and services operations.

University Goal 3: “An intellectual, professional and research excellence”.

Objectives:

  1. Develop new programs that achieve a competitive advantage for graduates.
  2. Sustainable development of the academic educational programs to keep pace with the labor market.
  3. Support student’s services and activities.
  4. Review and update the strategies of teaching and learning as well as development methods.
  5. Develop the scientific research to contribute in solving the community problems.
  6. Provide stimulating environment for the scientific research.
  7. Develop and issue scientific journals in order to be adapted with the World Ranking.

University Goal 4: “Gain the trust of the community and enhance the international standing of the University”

Objectives:

  1. Diversify the fields of cooperation with the community organizations to achieve its requirements.
  2. Develop and improve units for community service and development.
  3. Develop plans and programs for community services and environmental development.
  4. Support the applied researches to serve the community’s issues and problems.
  5. Support and promote local and international partnerships.
  6. Ensure systems that will support the requirements of the international rankings.

University Goal 5: “Digital University”

Objectives:

  1. Develop the university’s portal.
  2. Develop the infrastructure information network at the University, faculties and institutes.
  3. Expansion of E-Learning and Distance Education.
  4. Activate the MIS system.
  5. Activate the usage of D-Library.
  6. Training on Information Technology applications.

University Goal 6: “Promote the Academic values and ethics”

Objectives:

  1. Consolidate and apply the aspects of intellectual property rights.
  2. Commitment to the university’s ethics and values.
  3. Activate the laws and set rules for accountability and liability.
  4. Protect and enhance the academic liberty in the framework of the values and social norms.
