Monokov[edit]

Daniil Andreevich Shedko, internationally known as Monokov, (Russian: Даниил Андреевич Шедько; 21 June 2003 in Nizhny Novgorod) is an Russian activist and internet activist.

Biography[edit]

Daniil Shedko was born in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, on June 21, 2003, At the age of six, he went to Italy, since his parents decided to move to the peninsula, precisely to San Ginesio. After attending schools in the Italian municipality and working as a mechanic in the afternoon, in 2022 he began to publish his activities on the major social networks, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, simultaneously cultivating a passion for cycling.[1]

Since 6 March 2022,[2] since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, he decided to travel Europe with his bike to try to fight Russophobia and spread a message of peace. Its mission, also supported by the polish actor Kasia Smutniak, has reached and involved numerous European states, such as Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland and Lithuania. Condemned by the Russian authorities, according to Russian Law, can no longer return to his native country, as he would risk 15 years in prison.[1]

Its mission is called "Progetto Navalny" (in inglese: Navalny Project), name inspired by Putin's greatest political opponent, Alexei Navalny.[3] Hosted and supported by the populations where he goes,[4] he is accompanied by the white-blue-white flag, banned in Russia because it is the symbol of the protests against the war. In addition, it is accompanied by slogans "NO WAR", "RUSSIAN ARE NOT PUTIN"[5] and "NO RUSSO PHOBIA". Interviewed by numerous newspapers and televisions, Monokov admits that during his trip he often came across Russophobic attitudes.[1]

Alex Marè[edit]

Alex Marè (3 March 1995 in Fermo) is an Italian photographer.

Biography[edit]

Son of the writer and actor Savino Marè, Alex was born in Fermo and in 2015 he began his experience as a photographer, starting to work in the fashion industry and collaborating with numerous Italian national newspapers (Corriere della Sera and Corriere dello Sport) and magazines (Donna Moderna and Oggi), and then reach abroad with LaPresse.[6] After studying photography in 2014, he developed on black and white photography, starting to work in Milan. Participating in Milan Fashion Week and photographing numerous famous people such as Giorgio Armani, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Belén Rodríguez.[7] Back in the Marche he will work simultaneously as a freelance photographer in Fermo, in the local police and as manager of the gymnast Carlo Macchini.

In July 2021 he inaugurated his first bimonthly exhibition "L'Assunta" at the Cathedral of Fermo, thus becoming the first person to organize an exhibition in the Cathedral, commissioned by Archbishop Rocco Pennacchio and the rector of the cathedral Don Michele Rogante.[8] In the same year he published his first book "Ritratto Fotografico", born with the aim of telling the historical period lived during the COVID-19 pandemic.[9] Civilians, carabinieri, police, the mayor of Fermo Paolo Calcinaro and Archbishop Rocco Pennacchio had themselves portrayed.[10]

Savino Marè[edit]

Savino Marè (21 November 1964 in Lapedona) is an Italian photographer, actor[11] and writer.[12]

Biography[edit]

Savino Marè was born on November 21, 1964 in Lapedona, a small town in the province of Fermo. Engaged in social life, Savino is a "Peace Promoter" with the National Association of Civil War Victims, collaborating at the same time with a MIUR project regarding unexploded war residues.[13] After participating in various films, in 2012 he is in the music video of the music song "Le viole" by the singer Lighea and in February 2019 he will work as a correspondent at the 69th Sanremo Festival. In August of the same year he will be one of the jurors of "Miss Italia"[14] in San Ginesio,[15] later recalled in the final of the region in Loreto and for the election of Miss Marche.[16]

In 2013 his shot "Alba a Porto San Giorgio" won the audience award at the Milan International Tourism Exchange.[17] The Marche region used the photo to increase tourism. After the BIT the vote was exhibited in Germany, at the MITT of Russia and displayed in the palace of the municipality of Porto San Giorgio.

On November 29, 2014 Savino received a letter from the municipality of Porto Sant'Elpidio, where the municipal administration is all citizens are grateful to have a citizen like him.[18]

In 2018 he was appointed by the municipality of Falconara Marittima as a contemporary artist[19][20] and in 2019 he was named "Il marchigiano dell'anno - Picus del Ver Sacrum" for 2020. The event is organized by the Marche study center "Giuseppe Giunchi" under the patronage of the Senate of the Italian Republic and the Pio Sodalizio dei Piceni.[21]
