The 2017 IFMAR 1:10 Electric Off-Road World Championship is the upcoming 17th edition of the biennial IFMAR World Championships for 1:10 radio-controlled electric off-road buggies sanctioned by the International Federation of Model Auto Racing (IFMAR) to be run over two separate classes over eight days on 22nd through 29th September with each class running for three days each in total.
The IFMAR 1:10 Electric Off-Road World Championship was organized by Car Modelling Association of China (CMAC) on behalf of the Far East Model Car Association (FEMCA) and hosted by Xiamen Light Industry Group taking place at it's own circuit, the ARC International Raceway, in Xiamen, Fujian. This marks the second time an IFMAR Worlds took place in China, who was awarded hosting rights after the sucess of the Electric On-Road Worlds in Beijing the previous year. Team Associated's Spencer Rivkin of the United States and XRAY's Bruno Coehlo of Portugal, are the defending champions of the 2WD and 4WD class respectively.
