This WikiProject was formed to foster better articles on the U.S. state of Kentucky with a spirit of cooperation. This page and its subpages contain suggestions on formatting and layout of articles, which can be discussed at the project's talk.

Scope[edit]
This project covers the creation and editing of articles related to the U.S. State Kentucky, its cities, counties, geography, transportation, culture, history and so on. However, this project is not focusing on topics that are Louisville centric, nor does it focus on those that are central to the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky. The caveat to the exceptions is when something central to those regions is also significant for the state-at-large (i.e. the Frankfort, Kentucky article.)
It aims to improve and refine Wikipedia's resources on Kentucky in a fair and accurate manner and logically link them through a high-quality, well-maintained Kentucky Portal.

A continuous goal of this project is to improve sub-articles referenced in the Kentucky article as well as any article related to the subject of Kentucky.
