East German government
The 5th Council of Ministers of the German Democratic Republic was in office from July 14, 1967 to November 26, 1971.
On July 13, 1967, the newly formed Council of Ministers of the GDR met for its constituent meeting. At the suggestion of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Willi Stoph, the Council of Ministers decided to form the Presidium, which included the Chairman, twelve Deputy Chairmen, the Minister of Finance Siegfried Böhm and the Chairman of the Agriculture Council Georg Ewald.[ 1]
