Updates to articles[edit]

Hi, please add appropriate references to support the changes to make to articles or else they could all be reverted out. Also it would be useful of you would make edit summaries that indicate the change being made rather than some cryptic entry which is often a single word tangential to the actual change being made. Interlanguage links[edit]

Hello,

Thank you for your contributions. Please note that interlanguage links are now handled at Wikidata. In order to add a link to the corresponding category in other language, go to Languages in the left-hand menu, then select "Edit links". This will open the Wikidata item for the category; there you can add the links to other languages. Happy editing! –FlyingAce✈hello 18:04, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

March 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm 70.190.21.73. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Pony Pals have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. 70.190.21.73 (talk) 15:52, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Pony Pals. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 16:04, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

May 2018[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

99% of edits with this user address have been good edits. Yes recently on 12 March 2018, someone misused the user address with obvious vandalism, but it is a shared public account. Around 90% of recent edits with this user address have been me, and none of those were vandalism. Then for some reason on 29 March 2018 User:GiantSnowman reverted over 1000 edits, and 100% of those were good edits. This was unhelpful, maybe intentionally. Another problem editor is User:Mattythewhite, who - as luck would have it - is also from Yorkshire and likes football. Maybe these two see themselves as football referees, and are giving people the red card? I just do not know why User:GiantSnowman went over the top with his editing. Has he got OCD or something?

Decline reason:

You will not get this IP unblocked by making personal attacks against other editors in your unblock request. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:44, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I was referring to the fact that User:GiantSnowman and User:Mattythewhite come from Yorkshire and like football. That could be the least of their set of problems though. User:GiantSnowman has made completely over-the-top edits. He made around 1000 edits, or more, in around 2 minutes, but that made be an automated procedure of some sort with AutoWikiBrowser.

Decline reason:

Unblock requests that deal with the behavior of others are not considered. See WP:GAB. 331dot (talk) 09:03, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

99.8% of the edits have not been vandalism. 2 edits on 12 March 2018 were vandalism; it is a shared account. 99.8% of the edits were exemplary edits. But I think User:GiantSnowman made completely unwarranted edits. If I made that quantity of slightly-wild unwarranted edits, I would be consequently banned.

Decline reason:

Continued inappropriate unblock requests, removing talk page access. 331dot (talk) 09:40, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
