Your repeated edits on Vladimir the Great[edit]
Hello. Stop trying to falsify history, Vladimir the Great wasn't Ukrainian, for the simple reason that there was no Ukraine, no Ukrainian people and no Ukrainian language back then, only East Slavs speaking a common East Slavic language. Thank you. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 22:56, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
Follow your own advice and stop trying to do the same. There was no Russia then, and his name was not "Vladimir", and since Ukrainian is closer to Old East Slavic than any other East Slavic language. On top of that, most of Kyivan Ruthenia comprised modern Ukraine, the people of which were Ukrainian speaking Old Ukrainian, and Volodymyr is a Ukrainian name, therefore, he is Ukrainian, as is Kyivan Ruthenia, since it was the precursor to modern Ukraine the way Bohemia was to Czechia today.
- Vladimir is the English language name for him, which is why we use it, and a separate Ukrainian language didn't even begin to appear until 500+ years after Vladimir the Great's death, before then it was a common East Slavic language, not "Old Ukrainian"... - Tom | Thomas.W talk 23:59, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
