Hello, and thank you for removing vandalism from Rick and Morty. We appreciate this, but unfortunately your edit was not successful in restoring the article to its pre-vandalised state. For future reference, it is better to deal with vandalism by checking the article's page history to determine how it appeared before it was vandalised. You can then restore the whole article, or the relevant part of it, to an appropriate earlier version. If you simply delete the visible vandalism then any content removed or overwritten by the vandal is lost. See How to deal with vandalism for details. Thank you. A quick tip on warning vandals

Hi, and thank you for contributing to Wikipedia! I noticed that you helped revert some vandalism, and then left a note on the vandal's talk page. Although that is the right thing to do, I just wanted to let you know that there are "Templates" you can use to write messages quicker. For example, typing "{{uw-vandal}} ~~~~" would leave a faster warning with your signature. There are a huge amount of templates, so I would recommend you take a look at WP:TWINKLE, as it's a great anti-vandal tool which lets you leave warnings quickly. Hi, re this warning - they'd already been warned several times in the previous hour, and had, in fact, been blocked for their behaviour. If they're currently serving a block, there's no need to warn again; if not, but there are recent warnings, check their contributions to see if they have edited since the last warning - if not, don't warn them again (see WP:UW#Introduction). If they have edited since the last warning, and the previous warning was recent, your new warning should be no "weaker" than the previous warning. As I mentioned yesterday, there is a scale: for the vandalism warnings, it goes {{subst:uw-vandalism1}} → {{subst:uw-vandalism2}} → {{subst:uw-vandalism3}} → {{subst:uw-vandalism4}} after which your only option is to report them to WP:AIV. --Redrose64 (talk) 09:42, 29 September 2015 (UTC)

Reverting vandalism

First, sincere thanks, 89sec, for your reverting vandalism as part of the of the recent changes patrol. Please make sure when you revert vandalism, you are reverting the entire string of bad edits. Using the Undo section for a string of of two or more consecutive edits of vandalism won't do it in one click. You will either have to manually undo each bad edit, or use an automated tool. If you aren't autoconfirmed yet, you will be soon. As soon as you are, I suggest enabling Twinkle at your Preferences under Gadgets. I see you're doing a great job combating vandalism, so in a month or so, if you keep it up, ask me on my talk page, and I'd be pleased to grant you rollback.
