[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Monterey High School (Lubbock, Texas), you may be blocked from editing. Drmies (talk) 04:23, 9 January 2015 (UTC) This is not disruptive editing. My boss is a Monterey alum who is nationally known as a patient advocate and expert in patient-centered healthcare. She is a 1993 graduate with honors.
- See if she's notable by writing his Wikipedia article. If it stays, you can add her. BTW, what is "patient-centered healthcare"? What else could it be centered on? (Besides $ of course.) Drmies (talk) 04:35, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
That is a very good question. What is patient-centered healthcare? It seems obvious but it is not within the provider community. She is a she and not a He. There is no $$. I'm not even following what you're talking about. She is a notable early adopter, recognized by national media, and I'm just trying to add her. You seem very adversarial. She comes from a small town and has broken through many barriers in the healthcare industry. I just wanted to note that and add her to the list that includes musicians. How good is this page if Buddy Holly isn't even mentioned, and what goal do you have by keeping good information about high school graduates from the page? Do you want this page to be inclusive or not? I tried adding citations, but then you labeled me as spam. http://www.dallasobserver.com/2014-05-01/news/big-pharmacy-battle-over-trans-vaginal-mesh/

Hi Lubbock advocate: welcome to Wikipedia. I'm afraid our ways can take some getting used to. Please note that as an encyclopedia, one of our basic rules is that we present things neutrally. Thus, your user name looks a bit suspicious, because it suggests you may be here to advocate for a point of view; or that you represent a publication, such as the Lakewood Advocate. We don't allow user names that represent any kind of business or other organization. I suggest you change your user name; you can request that here. Also, Drmies is right: we don't list all interesting alumni of schools, only those that have an article here. And the criterion for notability is here, or summed up more succinctly, with links to further information, here. You may well be able to write a short article on Aaron Leigh Horton. That Dallas Observer source is a good one. Here's another in the Texas Tribune and a third in the Lakewood Advocate. That is just enough coverage in reliable sources for a small article summarizing what they say about her. Yngvadottir (talk) 14:00, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
Thank you so much for the help! This is very useful information, and I am not a programmer so I do need the help! Thank you. I will change my user name, but as I am Aaron's assistant, does that break the "impersonation rule" or whatever it's called? Shouldn't I sign in as myself and add the information about her or does that matter?
