Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges.

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Enterprisey (talk!) 09:04, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.A week after your block, your back to reverting other's edits on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport. Revert at CCU

[edit]

Hi, remember that discussion we had on my talk page and we settled for a calm minded , no revert/edit warring stance? Well looks like forgot about it, anyways I'd like to clarify that the AI flight to LHR is not a scheduled commercial service its an evacuation flight ,meant to bring back Indians from The UK and take the Brits in Kolkata back. Kindly do not re-add the flight unless AI decides to file a schedule for it and make it permanent (which as of now is unlikely). Thank you! Bingobro (Chat) 05:55, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You're really stretching limits here aren't you?, I was closing that discussion when you had to make this pointless and slightly disrespectful edit [1]. Bingobro (Chat) 08:03, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Temperament and name call isues of Adityabill2001. The discussion is about the topic Kolkata Airport. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from 2002 attack on American cultural centre in Kolkata into Consulate General of the United States, Kolkata. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 11:51, 20 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor nominated this for deletion on the grounds that it was redundant to Draft:Pramod Pathak.

The pages are about the same topic, but they are substantially different, so I removed the speedy-deletion template.

I put an explanation at Draft talk:Pramod Pathak (2).

I realize you are blocked and will likely remain so for some time to come (WP:Standard offer requires 6 months being away from Wikipedia before you even ask for reinstatement - this means NO editing of the English Wikipedia except for polite discussions related to your block on this page at all, whether logged in or not). By that time, both drafts will be "speedy deleted" as "stale drafts" under criteria WP:CSD#G13.

When you come back, ask yourself "is this person notable?" If he is, consider going to WP:REFUND and asking that both pages be restored so you can merge them.

To talk page stalkers: If you can look into this person and help determine if he meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines, please do. If he does, please pick one of the pages to improve and submit it through articles for creation. If the person does not, please put a note on the talk pages of both saying so, so others won't waste time. Also put a note on this talk page so Adityabill2001 won't waste time if and when they are unblocked.

By they way, you are only blocked on the English Wikipedia, you still have editing privileges on other Wikipedias and other Wikimedia projects such as the Commons. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 17:23, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Concern regarding Draft:Pramod Pathak (2)

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Adityabill2001. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Pramod Pathak (2), a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Draft space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for article space.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion under CSD G13. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available here.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 18:03, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Pramod Pathak (2)

[edit]

Hello, Adityabill2001. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Pramod Pathak".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 17:33, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
